SUEK is the largest coal supplier in Russia and one of the leading suppliers in the world. The company's sales strategy suggests keeping the balance between the domestic and export supplies. In the future, we are going to strengthen our positions in both sectors. The gradual liberalization of the electric power generation market, its tendency to favour the coal-based power generation, and the continuous growth of interior power consumption define the promising increase of supply to the domestic market.

The rapid economic growth of Asia-Pacific Region, together with the shortly expected launch of our own coal-handling terminal, are opening large prospects for the further development of our export activities. In this sector, we consider the logistics limitations and the need to raise the quality of the exported fuel as the top-priority issues to be solved.

Yet, the main principle of SUEK remains unchanged, be our target market  domestic or international consumer: we must be a reliable supplier for our clients, providing uninterrupted and timely supplies, fulfilling the contract obligations accurately despite any fluctuations in the market environment.
